Instructional Information

AirWorks RC’s training curriculum is based on Master Pilot Eric Pacheco’s personalized approach to teaching.  Through a secure and in-depth understanding of RC flight, training techniques are communicated in a common way to each specific student.  By using real life comparisons based on the student’s familiar situations, the training process is excelerated.
AirWorks RC maintains the moto… We will not let you fail as long as you have the desire to succeed.
Courses offered range from a new-pilots course through advanced training sessions including 3D flying based on most radio-controlled aircraft.
Often, new pilots will not recognize problems or poor control of their helicopters do to improper build or set-up. We see this countless time even from hobby store built aircraft.  This makes the aircraft much more difficult to fly than they should be.  All of our pilots are experts at troubleshooting aircraft problems, and can help enhance your heli building skills.

Training Consists Of:
* Personalized instructions to help the new, intermediate, and advanced pilots understand the basic components of flight maneuvers and the mechanical operations of the helicopter.
* Analysis of the aircraft’s performance and the pilot’s ability to control the aircraft.
* Teaching the student how to synchronize the performance of the helicopter with his or her own performance and reactions – a necessity to produce self-sufficient students.
* A course plan including a module overview, step-by-step maneuver component processing, visual/physical aids, transmitter-to-transmitter linked practical flight, and detailed hands on set up of both the helicopter and transmitter unit.

Unique Techniques:
1: Ghosting Mechanical Telemetry System.  This is a method of enhanced learning equaled by no other.  Most AirWorks RC students excel at an average rate of 50% faster than their counterpart using other instructors without this exclusive AirWorks RC program component.

2: Visual point reference system. This technique employs unique mechanical/visual feedback of information usually never analyzed or obtained before.  This tool has been most helpful to both our intermediate and advanced pilots who require that missing piece of help that has evaded them.  The results of this technique have been proven through students’ demonstration of substantially improved display of fluidity of operation and precise control of aircraft.

Locations:
Local classes available in Thousand Oaks, Van Nuys, Agoura and Camarillo, CA areas.

We are also available for travel in and outside the U.S.. If your schedule does not permit you to travel to us… we can come to you.  If you are not sure what to buy, from where or how to expedite service we can help.  We can schedule our sessions to receive, build, test fly, and train you all in one!
